Join Spork! for a jam-packed show full of poetry, comedy & spoken-word. Twelve competitors will battle it out in the first Spork! Slam. Plus special performances from Gecko & Julie Mullen. An outdoor show at Rougemont Gardens, hosted by The Exeter Phoenix.
GECKO
Gecko is a singer & storyteller who’s performed his work at Glastonbury, Bestival, BBC Radio 1 & the Edinburgh Fringe. He’s shared stages with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Loyle Carner, Tim Minchin & Billy Bragg. Last year he appeared on the Bafta nominated TV show ‘Life & Rhymes’ on Sky Arts. And in March his song ‘Rapunzel’ went viral on Tik Tok gaining over 200k views in under 48 hours. His second album ‘Climbing Frame’ is out now, and he’ll be touring the UK with a new show later this year.
