CoLab Hub

The Hub is home to over 30 organisations, from across sectors, all working together to enable people and communities to thrive. The CoLab core team works to create a nurturing, creative and inclusive environment for everyone to do their best work and support people when and where it is needed.  You can rent a desk space or hire a room. Exeter Phoenix

The Hall

Set in a painstakingly restored Grade 2* listed Victorian Sunday School, The Hall is an intimate, well equipped and particularly magical space in which to hold events.

If required, they can provide catering, bar, staff, equipment and event/technical support.

A large conference room or event space with brick walls, wooden floors, and high windows. Positive Light Projects

Positive Light Projects is a non-profit organisation using visual arts to engage and inspire a diverse range of audiences and communities, as well as developing emerging practitioners and aiding them to move their practice forward in exciting and innovative ways. There are range of spaces available for hire, including the large ground floor accessible workshop, first floor studio spaces, and a meeting room.

Matthews Hall

Matthews Hall offers versatile accommodation for events from private celebrations, concerts, theatrical performances, meetings and everything in between. The Hall has step-free access. The building is licensed for the sale of alcohol and has a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, oven and fridge. Free Wifi is available throughout the building.  Parking is available in the public car park next to Matthews Hall.

Dorothy Holman Centre

Dorothy Holman Centre is situated in Topsham Recreation Ground. It has a main hall, and a smaller area with a pool table and comfortable seating. There is a small kitchen with a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. The Centre is a great venue for parties, community groups, meetings and exercise classes. For the dimensions of the building, please see the diagram on the right.  The building has disabled access.

Cygnet Theatre

Whether you are looking to utilise the building for a corporate event with an additional room for break-out spaces, want a fully teched space for a rehearsal or looking for somewhere different for your businesses meetings, Cygnet Theatre can help.

Nestled in the heart of Exeter, just above the Historic Quay, Cygnet Theatre is nearby to hotels, restaurants, public car parks, and within walking distance of public transport links.

Barnfield Theatre

The Barnfield Theatre is located in Exeter’s city centre and is managed by Northcott Theatre. They have one auditorium which seats 280 people and one adaptable space which can seat 60 people.

The Barnfield welcome community groups, workshops, writers & actors seeking space to rehearse or socialise, and all purpose room hire requests.
