Wild Words
Wild Words is a compilation of writing inspired by Dartmoor. Dartmoor Preservation Association’s vision is that, through reading and sharing these stories, people will discover, or strengthen, their connection to Dartmoor.
Wild Words began as a callout to local writers, essayists, diarists, poets and lyricists and quickly became a wonderfully eclectic selection of pieces written on, featuring or prompted by the moor.
Dartmoor Preservation Association believe that a strong connection to the landscape inspires activism, accountability, stewardship and a sense of responsibility.
The Wild Words digital magazine, featuring over 50 pieces of writing, will launch publicly on Friday the 28th of November.
The magazine will be a free download which everyone is welcome to access and enjoy. It will also be accompanied by recordings of many of the written pieces, and everything can be found on the DPA website: https://dartmoorpreservation.co.uk/wild-words
