About Reading Together

Reading Together - free weekly sessions for people aged 19+

Mondays - 10am-11.30am in the Parish Room at St David's Church

Reading Together came about from a request from a person we met at the Jobcentre who told us he would like to get together with a group of people to read articles and other texts because he is dyslexic.

We set about bringing his hope to life through creating this course. People can come along to one session or as many as they like. We read articles and extracts from novels which are all linked by curious themes. In the break we offer free tea, coffee and biscuits and have fun with word puzzles and word searches.

Sessions are held in the Parish Room at St David's Church - a friendly, welcoming and supportive space. Reading Together is facilitated by Creative Writing and English Tutor, Sam Watson.
