Crazy is an account of the origins and progress of an all-consuming relationship. Jane, the teller of the tale, shuttles between the present, where she’s assailed by physical symptoms she can’t explain, and the story in hand, an ill-fated tale of obsession. Crazy is also a novel about writing and identity – the way the stories we absorb and accrue become the stories that make and break us.
