Following her Sunday Times bestselling, prize-winning book The Salt Path, Raynor Winn returns with her profoundly moving second memoir, The Wild Silence.
In The Salt Path, Raynor and her husband Moth head to the windswept coastline to try to find a way through homelessness, and ultimately to find themselves. In her follow-up book, The Wild Silence, they come back to four walls, but the sense of home is elusive, and returning to normality is not easy.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Exeter Southernhay and in conversation with Dom Jinks, Exeter Culture Director, in this exclusive livestreamed interview Raynor will describe their inextricable connection to the land, and how by exploring their past, Raynor comes to terms with their future.
Tickets: £5 (plus donation: ticket sales from this event will include a donation to YMCA Exeter and its continued work to provide safe and affordable homes for previously homeless young people)
An email to the livestream will be shared with participants on the day.
