Exeter Young City Laureate 2026-27

Calling aspiring young writers in Exeter aged 14-19; we’re looking for the city’s second ever Young City Laureate! At Literature Works, we are ambitious about supporting and developing Exeter’s young voices for the future and the role of Exeter Young City Laureate is central.

They will receive paid commissions to create work that celebrates special moments for Exeter and will be invited to contribute to creative events, representing the voice of young people in the city.

Any young person aged 14-19 who lives, works or studies in Exeter can apply. The deadline is midday Wednesday 15th July.
