PechaKucha Exeter

Simple. Engaging. Spurring authentic connections. PechaKucha is the ideal tool to share passions and drop some knowledge... You can use the evening to share research, a story, a moment in time, an idea, a theory - anything you feel like sharing.

PechaKucha has arrived here in Exeter, creating powerful, visually-compelling stories that move audiences in less than 7 minutes, all hosted with drinks and snacks for a sociable evening of sharing in The Hall Exeter.

Anyone can present at a PK: it’s highly structured nature often allows folk who never usually share or speak publicly to brilliantly let people into their worlds.

Anyone can come to the ticketed event. A PK event is a social evening with around 10 presentations on a loose theme. All presentations will be available online after the event.

PechaKucha is a presentation form of  20 slides, with 20 seconds of commentary per slide. Slides change automatically and the speaker synchronises their speech with the images. Each presentation lasts for exactly 6 minutes and 40 seconds. The slides change automatically and the speaker must synchronise their speech with the images.
